BEIJING, October 24, 2025– The kick-off meeting for the group standard “Electro Permanent Magnet Lifting Devices” initiated and drafted by the China Mechanical & Electrical Products Circulation Association (CMEPCA), was successfully convened via an online platform on October 24, 2025.
The meeting saw active participation and vibrant discussions between the drafting committee and attending representatives. A consensus was reached regarding the current status of the standard’s development. Experts and representatives from participating units expressed their affirmation for the progress made. The drafting committee clarified the key tasks and focus areas for the next phase of work.
Distinguished attendees included Li Zhenqian, Deputy Secretary-General of CMEPCA, and Kang Xinzheng, Deputy Director of the CMEPCA Standardization Work Committee. The meeting also featured expert Cai Anhui, Vice President of Hunan Institute of Science and Technology, Director of the Hunan Provincial Key Laboratory of Electromagnetic Equipment Design and Manufacturing, and a leading discipline leader in Hunan’s higher education institutions. HVR MAG participated in the proceedings as an attendee to provide suggestion for the standard.

Furthermore, with the approaching “Dual Carbon” goals, electro permanent magnet lifting devices are poised to gradually replace traditional electromagnetic lifters, evolving towards larger capacity, higher stability, and greater intelligence.
Establishing this group standard for electro permanent magnet lifting devices is a crucial step towards guiding the industry’s standardized and healthy development. Group standards represent the collective wisdom of industry stakeholders and are highly responsive to market and technological trends. The formulation and implementation of this standard will serve to unify the technical requirements for permanent magnet lifting devices, addressing current issues such as ambiguous safety indicators and inconsistent quality standards. Simultaneously, it will provide clear guidelines for industry development, steering the sector towards greener and more intelligent upgrades. This initiative marks a significant milestone for the industry.
