HVR MAG is currently manufacturing a custom 100-ton electro-permanent magnetic lifter for a leading customer in the European wind energy industry. This project highlights our ability to deliver reliable lifting solutions for demanding heavy-duty applications.

As the wind energy sector continues to grow, manufacturers are handling larger and heavier steel components. Therefore, they need lifting equipment that is safe, efficient, and dependable. Traditional lifting methods can create challenges in productivity and material protection. In contrast, electro-permanent magnetic technology offers a safer and more efficient alternative.

The lifting beam is designed with a rated lifting capacity of 100 tons. It is specifically engineered for handling large steel plates used in wind tower production and heavy equipment manufacturing. In addition, the beam is equipped with multiple electro-permanent magnetic modules. These modules provide stable load distribution and secure lifting performance.

One of the biggest advantages of electro-permanent magnetic technology is its energy efficiency. Power is required only during magnetization and demagnetization. Once activated, the magnets maintain their holding force without continuous electricity consumption. As a result, energy costs can be significantly reduced.

Safety is another important benefit. Even if a power failure occurs, the magnetic force remains active. Therefore, the load stays securely attached during the lifting process. This feature helps reduce operational risks and improve workplace safety.
