The customer needed to pick up cylindrical shafts, perform a flipping action during transfer, and then place each part precisely in a designated position. HVR MAG engineered a compact electro-permanent magnetic gripper that integrates directly with the robotic arm. Guided by the vision system, the robot identifies the exact location and orientation of each shaft.
